It’s hard to believe the year is almost over! It feels like it started slow, and then suddenly—bam—it’s nearly done. I’ve been thinking about how I approach New Year’s resolutions, and I’ve realized I prefer to focus on improvements rather than rigid goals. For me, it’s less about saying, “I’ll read 10 books this year” and more about the effort to read more.
This year, I accomplished the goal of reading more. Honestly, I just couldn’t remember to pick up a book! So I am not putting that on my list for the upcoming year.
As we head into the New Year, I’ve considered areas where I’d like to grow and improve. Here are a few things I’m focusing on:
- Budgeting better
- Saving more
- Investing more
- Prioritize self-care
- Working out consistently – Especially getting back on track when I slip up
- Growing my business
- Read my Bible more
Looking back, I’m proud to say I made progress in several areas last year—like reading, practicing self-care, and working out more consistently. It’s a great reminder that even small steps can lead to meaningful change.
So, what about you? Do you have any goals, plans, or ideas for the New Year? Whether big or small, I’d love to hear about them!
Let’s make the most of the year ahead. Life is short, and every day is a gift. Take the trip, buy the shirt, and make the memories.
